Bristol Construction and Manufacturing Initiative Sparks Renewed Interest in Written-Off System

Arcetri Station - Galileo: The view from Arcetri, Bristol Construction and Manufacturing's newest station, was until recently not among the most inspiring one can find in SIrius. Blue void and black clouds, broken only by the occasional lights of operational trade lanes, made for a dreary landscape and dire traversal, as strings of piratical attacks kept all but the most brave of traders away.

BC&M's announcement of a new installation in the system was met by market analysts with skepticism, questioning the wisdom of settling in a notoriously unstable region at the centre of an ongoing dispute among Liberty and Kusari's primary industrial power players.
The company's projected net worth, already facing a nearly static growth due to unresolved doubts about the sustainability of some of its prior investments, faltered significantly for over a month past the completion of the construction work.

This trend has inverted in more recent weeks under the stewardship of Mr. Hancock M. Fitzgerald, CEO of Golden Road EG (subsidiary of BC&M), as the installation prospered and attracted significant numbers of miners and merchants both independent and affiliated with the company. With word of mouth and aimed marketing campaigns driving interest further afield, independent estimates state that initial BC&M pitch has already repaid for itself in full and is paying healthy dividends for workers and owners alike.

In a move thought by analysts to be a sort of coronation of this unlikely success story as well as a show of prestige, a large convoy of Bristol vessels was helmed by the man credited with its writing in person; while the details of the deal remain as yet unknown, the passing of this merchant fleet has sparked speculation among Libertonian and Kusari brokers, leading more activity the station's way.

Reached by CNS Econ for an interview, Mr. Fitzgerald agreed to our offer at a later date, to be hosted on his personal vessel and mobile headquarters, the Zen Star.

Good day to the whole Corsair net and all travelers in the glorioso Imperio of Crete! my name is Jose Ortiz, you'r favorite presenter to make your morning happier.

Today we have a fabulous news from one of the head managers of the Freeport 9, as you all may remember, Theta has been under a heavy conflict for the past year until nowadays. Of course, our valerosos pilots and brave warriors did an amazing show of force by decimating the entire enemy, I still can remember the gigantic glorious fleets assembling in the high orbit of our beautiful planet, Crete, gloria eterna for them all.

Well, the head manager in question gave us an interview about the actual status of the Freeport 9 and the future to come. Please, enjoy those fabulous news, here we let you with the Interview.

Hi, my name is Dulcinea, and today we are with the manager team of Freeport 9, right now, we are enthusiasm-ed to finally have this interview done, so, señor, please, let's start!

&t Señor Jorge, please, explain us how did the aftermath went aboard the Freeport.

- Buenos dias. Well, we had a lot of work in the first weeks after the system got pacified by the glorious Imperio, so many wreckage around, sections blown up and so many damages to assets, it was chaotic, but our valiant ingenieros started to work non stop. The Zoners aboard the station first had so much fear, poor souls, they feared they would lose they'r home. -Jorge smiles- But together, we managed the situation into putting the station back to work, sadly only one biodome got repaired and is now working.

&t Tell me more about, is any way to fix the rest of the biodomes?

- Well, its hard since the Imperio does not have the proper technology or development teams involved in that sectors, so probably if nothing changes and no major discovery is done we are talking about some years before they do operate again. But anyway, one biodome can feed several thousands of souls in the sector.

&t We did notice that several cargo vessels from the system are going in and out the station non stop, do the merchant fleets move nowadays more in the area?

- Right now we have two stable routes and one pending for approval at the receiving end, the first one is a stable route moving water and fertilizers from Gran Canaria trough the Omega 5 corridor now that is secured from the Hessian pest, the second one moves fine quality food to Crete. The third one is pending for approval for mooring at the low orbit of Pygar. But I am sure the situation will be addressed in the following weeks, our partners, the Zoners, do work hard for that food and they are also in need for it at Pygar.

&t You told us about the future of the station, what do the administrative team have in mind?

- Well, I can't tell you all, I would have to kill you if I do! -He laughs- no no, the future of the station is already a plan that is slowly, but steady working. The main priority right now is to clean the wreckages around and salvage as much as possible to reinforce the station and allow a safer passage to docks 5 to 8, since right now the only docks operating for large cargo vessels are the 1 to 4. The repairs of the section D who got blown up apart is already working but it needs so many resources that Crete can't really expend. But I am sure that with the increasing flow of goods arriving and departing for the station, we will be able to afford the components.

&t Any message to conclude the interview senyor Jorge?

- Of course, I would love to address all the Zoners in the station, Corfu, Pygar, and the Academy. Together we will prevail, Theta will re-flourish as a merchant hub for us all, and the Imperio will benefit as well as all the Zoners in the system, in the end, this is our system, our home, and is our duty to defend it and make it prosper. It is the Foreign Office's wishes to further communicate that Bretonia stands, now more than ever, at a crossroad; the Sirius Sector can choose between the civilized nation of Bretonia or the barbaric, ruthless Molly rebels intent on carving out a state. It is our utmost desire to continue fruitful talks and high-level partnership with our neighbors to coordinate the secure handling of the Dublin Crisis and towards finding a solution regarding it at earliest, such that this wave of sector-wide moves by various insurrectionists fail. The Foreign Office will, within the day, initiate talks with our Rheinland counterparts towards the ratification of prior treaties, discussed before the Dublin Crisis. Official channels with the Kusari Empire and Crayter Republic will also be further used to synchronize military manoeuvres in the Tau region and beyond, but also to rekindle the positive economic relationship.

Good morning to all the Imperio, señores y señoras, with you to make your morning happier, Jose Ortiz. We have splendid nuevas to share with you all. Our journalists in Nueva Barcelona parliament delivered today a text from the Imperio's comandantes explaining a new conquest in our horizons, the conquest of Dublin! The 128 pages text explain with all sort of details how our brave fleets managed to deploy a huge contingent in Dublin using a secret route for it that has not been disclosed.

In the text we found amazing news for us all, the mooring ports in high Orbit are already working unloading gold conquered to the Mollys and the Stockmarket for it skyrocketed with more than 20 points rising in this past hour. Looks like Dublin was really a gold mine, eh?. The operations are being managed by the high comandets of the Santisima fleet. We can't access them to ask some details but here in our humble office we send them force, force to defeat the enemigos, force to conquest for the glory of us all!

The Deterrence is recruiting miners and adventurous who are willing to take some risks for the Imperio in order to secure mining operations and mine gold, they'r leader, Executor Francisco Javier stated:

"its time to secure the Santander and his operations and by the gloria eterna of the Corsair Imperio, we shall guide the operations to good port, the gold extracted and processed here will fuel the new flotillas, and the salvaged wrecks will serve to repair and fight those Pesky Bretonnians who did so much damage to our people. Never fall asleep, the enemigo never sleeps, we shall not stop until all of them are subjugated under the power of the Corsarios and all they'r worlds bowed under our mighty armada!"

The Road To Dublin: Part I
NEW LONDON - Following in the trail of a massive economic push by the Trade and Industry Department aimed at satisfying, if temporarily, the market demand for Dublin Gold, and coinciding with a spike in Molly and Coalition activity in the region, it appears that the final orders have been given out to begin preparations for the liberation of Dublin.

ADMIRALTY GIVES ASSURANCES - Aware of the dangerous path they are treading on following Admiral James Byng's conduct and its consequences on the public image of the Armed Forces, the Admiralty Board has offered assurances that "another Graves disaster will never ever occur". Fleet Captain Sommerville has also spoken briefly on the matter in a defence conference held earlier today, urging the people of Bretonia forward to "cast off the Molly yoke from Dublin, now and forever".

Bretonia's call for aid answered!: Rheinland has answered the call for aid from Bretonia! Many ships up to the famed Donau Cruisers have been spotted passing through Bretonian space straight to Dublin to help the Queen's forces in it's quest to take back Dublin from the Molly terrorist group.

"We have organized a battlegroup meant for patrolling Omega 3 so the Armed Forces can focus on it's war in Dublin. Some ships of said battlegroup have also been sent as support units to the Bretonian Fleet there." - Admiral Kunrad explained. "Unlike the other Houses, only Rheinland has shown to be a loyal ally that has not only helped Economically, but Militarily as well."

Questions have been asked if this move by the Military is actually fruitful to it's economy. "Naturlich does this help Rheinland itself." - Großadmiral Henze proclaimed. "The Mollys are staunch allies of the Red Hessians. By weakening them, the Hessian terrorists will have nowhere to run. By fighting them in Bretonia, we create a safer environment in Rheinland. Despite past disagreements, maintaining peace and stability between our houses is our highest priority!"

Another statement that proved bilateral relations are at an all-time high came from Fleet Captain Harold Sommerville of the Bretonian Armed Forces: "I wish to express my utmost gratitude to the Rheinland Military for their support in Dublin, to the Rheinland Government for standing by the side of Her Majesty through this crisis, but also to the people of Rheinland, whom we Bretonians have grown to treat as brothers and sisters. As I have said before during talks with the top officials of the Rheinland Government, we shall never forget the assistance offered in these trying times."

Fighting continues in Dublin as we speak. With Bretonia trying to keep up the pressure on the Mollys and mainly the Republican Provisional Army. For now it seems there is no end in sight to the war. We will keep you posted on updates on the front.

NEW LONDON - Great news bless Bretonia this fine evening as Galway Frontiers officially announces its refinery becoming operational. After an arduous campaign against Molly terrorists and other conscripted ne'er-do-wells, the Armed Forces and BMM elements have successfully deterred the siege from the recently established facility - Lisheen Logistics Depot - located in sector G/3, just outside the Achills field.

As of last Saturday, June 15th, Dublin has been the site for bloody battles between Crown forces and criminal groups aligned with the Mollys. A fringe gang spotted the freshly planted Lisheen and immediately attacked the innocent construction team. With sheer luck, the venerable HMS Naseby rescued the construction team and escorted them safely out of the system, providing vanguard as the Galway group streamed essential supplies to their base. Today, after a week of fighting, a decisive blow was dealt as the Armed Forces counterattacked a forward operating outpost, which forced a cowardly retreat from the Molly aggressors, securing a Crown victory.

This is Kendra Marshall, reporting for the Independent Colony News Service. I was on the scene today as a large battlegroup of BAF and BMM vessels, aided by Police and Bounty Hunter forces, engaged and repelled an Molly attempt to destroy the Lisheen Logistics Depot, a recently established, yet currently minor outpost in the Dublin system.

The establishment of the base in Dublin is seen by the Mollys as a blatant attempt by the BAF to have a base from which they can launch attacks on Molly shipping in the area, as well as launch assaults on Molly bases, with the intent of reclaiming the system for Bretonia. The BMM meanwhile, insist it is only to aid in the logistical side of mining and shipping Gold from Dublin to the other houses of the Sirius sector.

Upon arriving in the system I was able to witness, from a safe distance, two engagements between the Molly forces and those of Bretonia. On both occasions the Mollys were utterly destroyed, with only minor losses of ships for the Bretonian forces. It's unclear how many are dead, as several pilots from both sides were able to eject before their ships were destroyed.

After the first battle I was able to interview the Captain of the HMS Hellhound. In a brief interview, they confirmed several details, including BAF plans to send both more troops and ships into Dublin, to secure the outpost, as well as confirming it will likely be used as a springboard into Dublin by Bretonian forces. They also stressed the need to dismantle the minefield surrounding the Jumphole, to make it easier for larger vessels and crews to safely enter the system. BMM also intends to place further defense platforms around the Station, to prevent further attacks.

They also made it clear that more escort craft will be required for vessels visiting the outpost in future, as Mollys will likely step up attacks on shipping from the Jumphole. When I asked if the BAF intended to construct their own facility in Dublin, her reply was "One step at a time, dear."

As my last question, I asked if she felt that the war between the BAF and Mollys would cause the Corsairs in sector to try and take advantage, but she felt that this far from their home systems, the Corsairs are still at a disadvantage.

It's worth noting that before the battle began, negotiations were attempted, but failed. Evidently the recent attack on a Molly Funeral has left their forces incensed at Bretonian forces. It is likely we can expect future Molly attacks on the new outpost. But if they'll succeed? Only time will tell.

With Lisheen Logistics Depot seemingly secure, it is evident that for the coming future, the Mollys will be facing a rough time, with Bretonian military forces stepping up their activities in the system, and BMM moving to exploit the gold supplies in the sector, to alleviate the Sirius gold shortage. We hope to interview a member of the Mollys in coming days, to get their perspective on the issue.

BAF Strike Kills Dozens Of Funeral Guests

ARRANMORE - In a cynical show of force, the Bretonian Armed Forces launched an attack during the funeral of Ian Carew, marring a somber event with violence and killing dozens of civilians.

Ian Carew, known for his lifelong dedication to the Molly cause, passed away due to natural causes at the age of 101. His funeral, held in Dublin on a Saturday evening, was attended by hundreds of Mollys as well as dozens of guests from across the sector, coming together to pay their respects to the last founder.

Halfway through the ceremony, Bretonian ships struck the gathering. Survivors of the attack say that they were especially eager to target the civilian ships present. So far, 14 men, 22 women, and 3 children have been identified among the dead, with scores of injured undergoing treatment.

“This heartless attack was a clear attempt to demoralise the movement,” said Chancellor Jac Yarwood. “A hope that by striking us in a moment of mourning, they would leave us broken, and in doing so the Crown has shown not only its morality for the facade it is, but once again proven that they lack the understanding and respect for the people that would be required for any form of compromise or peace.”

The Kingdom has not released any statements to comment on the attack, but inside sources suggest they were likely seeking to undermine the movement's logistics and morale. However, this brutal act has only galvanised the resolve of those fighting for their freedom. The Republican Provisional Assembly vowed to continue their struggle, honouring the legacy of Mr. Carew and those harmed in Saturday’s tragic events.

NEW LONDON - A new Bretonia Mining firm introduced itself boldly earlier this week by setting up shop in Molly-infested Dublin, allegedly, right after an Armed Forces ambush on a supposed funeral for a Molly figurehead. The recently established "Galway Frontiers" facility - Lisheen Logistics Depot - aims to provide a safe corridor to Bretonia's Gold fields, and will serve as a drop-off point for any Bretonian gold miners willing to stomach the risks, as soon as their planned refinery finishes construction.

Galway Frontiers is an upstart company, sponsored by an executive of Planetform Inc. - Hendrick Bartholomew Vickers - who saw an opportunity amidst an assembly of disgruntled and unemployed crowd of ex-Bretonia Mining workers. The protesting workers outside of BMM offices were demanding that the authorities take the initiative and plunge back into Dublin in the hopes of creating more jobs. BMM has been neglecting to take action due to their claims of unprofitable cost-risks.

With a stable source of funding, Galway has spearheaded a Bretonian return to Dublin, with the intent of providing a secure corridor to Bretonia's rightful gold fields. Ore mined by Galway ships will be refined on their Lisheen facility before being shipped to its sister BMF station Fortitudine, where it will then be exported to the rest of Sirius. Due to the brutality of Molly terrorists, the very same behind the Graves Massacre, Bretonia Mining ships are authorised to use surplus military equipment from the Gallic invasion.

In accordance with the priorities and directives of Her Majesty's Armed Forces and as a response to the Molly movement ramping up efforts in an attempt to break the blockade of the Dublin system, we are hereby announcing that the Cumbria Asteroid Field, respectively the Southampton Debris Fields and an area five clicks around them will become off-limits twenty-four hours after this broadcast, until further notice. With the requisitioning of Thames outpost and repositioning of veteran crews commandeering Crecy-class destroyers in the New London system, the Armed Forces will respond with greater flexibility to any situations that may arise, be they of civilian or military nature.

A corridor will remain opened from Belvedere Refinery to Trafalgar Station for use by civilian vessels however all ships heading in, or out of the Southampton Debris Field corridor will be subjected to detailed scans.

The extension of the blockade to contain these aforementioned fields comes at a time of great need in the Kingdom of Bretonia. To better respond to threats within the Dublin system also, the restricted zones will be corroborated and merged with the present blockade of the Dublin system to form the Anti-Terrorist Operation Area. The ATA will pave the way for the eventual return of Bretonia to the Dublin system, however we strongly advise civilians to nevertheless avoid the general vicinity of the restricted areas due to known Molly and Corsair presence.

In addition to the formation of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Area, Her Majesty's Armed Forces will begin conducting small-scale military forays within the Dublin system in close coordination with the BMM aimed at both disrupting the operations of the Molly movement and recovering Gold for refining and subsequent shipping by our trusted partners abroad.
