XXXXXToday, I am proud to present to you the reestablishment notice of QC|. This faction, whom I, and probably many others, considers legendary, has been disbanded by the same man who restarted it, and who even refused me to restart it by myself. Today is the day I reject this. It has been the first faction I officially joined, and while I wasn't in here for a lot of time, I have very fond memories of this faction. This faction simply must not go to waste.

I have been a part of the Freelancer Community since 2003.
From beta testing to the final release.
I have witnessed a time where there were more servers than you could count.
One of my favorites was the TNG 2.76 mod with the Anti Matter Torpedoes killing everything friendly or foe with in 2K.
So many times the servers were taken down and abandoned because attempted cheating and hacking.
I wonder sometimes if people realize the cost involved in running a server?
Hardware, Software, Bandwidth, Server Fees and the God Given Talent of the Coders and their Technical Skills behind the scene.
It irks me that people cannot just enjoy the game with out cheating or hacking, bypassing the learning curve.
Maybe it's a Generational thing?
I am hoping the series of crashes today were a technical matter and not that of a Cheater.
My hats off to the Team here for all their hard work.
This is by far the most enjoyable server.
Thanks for your hard work.

Velvet Disbandment/Merger notice

Velvet is merging with Phoenix, all of HC voted for this, there will be no subtag so apart from the characters it shall be dead.

I have some regrets honestly, I think I should of disbanded it a long time ago. Our activity reduced and our interest, mine included dwindled to very low standards. I know we weren't well liked, I know we weren't the best but we did a service that wasn't done for a long time and I feel we had some impact on the current progression of Zoners.

I don't know if I will stick around Discovery for much longer, honestly my own depression and malaise over DIscovery has made me quite despondent but that's just me. All our assets will go to Phoenix as well, including the SRP Bullhead and of course everyone's favourite annoying POB, Scorpius. As for "official" stations like FP11, it is entirely up to RedEclipse in what he wants to do with them, even if it is outside of his control.

I thankyou, truly for putting up with me, Velvet was the second faction I led and the longest time I've led one.

I'm actually sad to announce this, but I believe this should not surprise anyone of you – MAE is no more.

We passed our way from an unofficial faction with two members to quite big (as for average discovery group) official faction. We had been active and tried to bring activity to Gallia and make this place more interesting for players that were looking for RP. I assume that we failed.

Failure of our canonization seems, a nail we could not survive. Being a corporation on Disco is one of the most boring gameplays that could ever be provided. Endless trading and doing RP regarding "we delivered N Oxygen" is not what I wanted for my faction. Doing endless pseudo-science for people to get scidata codes is either not what I wanted my faction to be. Our political attempt to create the Barony of Languedoc, later known as the Barony of Antilles (with plan B as the Barony of Roussillon) – all have failed. Unfortunately, MAE as just Enclave corporation would have no future: inRP such mega-giant as EFL would easily consume us as soon as Enclave would get a step hold in Gallia as the corporation with centuries of development and grow behind it and et cetera.

Anyway, I don't really want to care about the reasons for our failure. MAE is no more.

As you can tell by the name and OP contents, that was only intended for *moderation* requests, i.e. requests that could be completed by a moderator. However people have posted requests such as creating/removing subforums, changing forum descriptions, icons, ordering, etc. there, and these have never been doable by a moderator.

It has been decided to DISBAND the |KSP| by myself (1ic) and the (2ic).

So effective immediately this group is no longer and will not be re introduced.
Reasoning behind it is because we have had some people join who have not even logged so far and it appears that me and the (2ic) were alone most of the time.

We were hoping to get to officialdom some time but that wll not be happening either.

Alot of work was done by certain people who I will not mention any names but those people who helped to create the discord server and also creating the faction pages did an awful lot of work and gave up their time to help and it was greatly appreciated.

SO I send my apologies for getting you to do all this work and now finding out that it has not worked.
