The Jiangnan Shipyard was a Coalition outpost located in Tangier orbit. It was used to transfer supplies to the planet to replace Viernheim, and to enable the Coalition to use the industrial production facilities on it for initial processing of the ore. After NWI fleet arrived, the outpost was quickly expanded with ship production and maintenance functions and renamed shipyard.
Its construction marks an expansion of the Coalition's industrial capabilities, will allow for more advantageous access to raw materials in the future, and ensure that the sacrifice of the Alvin Katz will not be in vain.
The Jiangnan shipyard is currently under construction.
