One of the most active people here on the forum is being sanctioned.
@"Caitlyn Cross" created a number of different characters over the last years, like Caitlyn Cross from the Red-Velvet-Club, Captain Hilda from the Beefamster, and much more.
He is very active, creative and lives the soul of Discovery as it should be.

His characters are well thought, deep and creative. HOwever some of them are for some people too creative. One, BrokenWings/Sonja, has a borderline background, which is covered here.

There was an encounter ingame, where @"Caitlyn Cross" elaborated about the background. One line fell, which lead to a sanction: the whole background story will be DELETED by tomorrow.

I had only pleasant encounters and wonderful times with @"Caitlyn Cross" 's characters. And the whole OS&C| Faction would be dead now, if not for his characters. Thus I, personally, find the punishment exaggarted and unfair.

I want to petition for the story to stay on the forum. If atlerations are necessary, @"Caitlyn Cross" will do them.

Staff's decision is ludicrously ham-fisted. Instead of deleting the entire story off of the forums and handwaving it with "just save it in a word document," they should permit the author to retcon the story and keep it on the forums.

Edit: That being said, staff's mind is made up and they won't care about this petition, regardless of its outcome.

I Offered that already but I got NO Answer what Parts Specific they find Problematic and Rule Breaking, I would be Happy to Change them, as there is a Lot of my Heart in this Character. but even after several times, I got no answer.

Don't lose time to post similar threads and start over the char keeping the background more family friendly possible. The report will be right but the punishment a bit too heavy and I'm not going to retcon my RPs with him because of something that wouldn't have influenced my actions, any sad past was that.

I have had nothing but good interaction with Caitlyn cross and also the whole of her characters and think this decision by the game masters is very heavy handed on a valuable ROLEPLAY person who is not just doing PEW PEW PEW on the server and does exceptional roleplay on the forums.

@Caitlyn Cross is always interesting to be interacted with.

I think it is a joke to even report that. There are no very detailed parts as far as I know. Others can gas a space station as if they were nazis and a story about a girl being a underaged slave is illegal? I mean we can RP human experiments as long as they are not detailed on how you open them up or what not. I would not say that it is a light story but my main char also has some dark parts in her story yet no one bothered with it, as it is only a story. If you want to keep it pegi 13 or whatever you should also remove screaming npcs when they die and ships exploding to because you know a lot of people die. Maybe even remove infection via nomads as you need to detail a bit how the nomad incubi enters your body which could be considered porn or hentai. Maybe even remove the cinematic were the nomad exits the hosts body? My point? There is a lot of not so family friendly stuff on this server and killing something because of that is plane and simple stupid. If anything make needed adjustements guided by GMs so the drama can stop. For the GM side don't make such a fuzz around it and tell him what isn't okay so adjustments can be made.

And if you can't tell him what is wrong besides one mention ingame then the hypocracy really has to stop and a big fat apology is needed.

been reading a few of his stories and the roleplay he has in the 46th discord server
this guy is exceptional at roleplaying and is willing to put in all the effort to make it as logical as possible
i believe this punishment isn't fair towards him and the work he has done for the roleplaying element
although ive only been on for a few days and without knowing him personally i can tell he is just here to
keep the server lively and have fun
surely nothing wrong with that
