Just thinking aloud. The "Looking For Group" subforum is not used. It's got a "last post" date of almost 4 weeks ago.

For new comers to the forum, our second highest subforum having a "last post" date of 4 weeks ago isn't a good first impression.

Plus, it takes up screen real estate.

Considering it is not used really at all, I propose we scrap it.

Have your say in the poll.

That's players looking for groups, not groups advertising for playerbases, post date would be irrelevant because that depends on the person, it doesn't necessarily indicate activity. It's harmless to have.

My suggestion would be to make a template for "Introduce yourself" forum where people can add in a "looking for group" paragraph with activity type, or something like that. 2 in 1, much more active forum.

Thanks for reminding me about that subforum. It is an underrated tool.

It's one of those things that are only as useful as people make them, meaning it requires active community participation to be useful and if it gets that, then it is a VERY useful tool to have. I'd say keep it.

Yes.

Why does it bother you tho? It's a useful tool. It doesn't hurt anyone.

Should not have to remove something if it’s actually being used

If it had not been used for 6 months or more then fair enough

And it’s useful for new players to post wanting to get involved

Needs to stay

It doesn’t need removing because there is nothing wrong with it where it is
