Kauffman’s Fruit Farm is a family-owned orchard in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Our apples are picked fresh from our orchard and only the finest are selected to be carefully hand-packed into our Apple Gift Boxes. The best known apple on the planet, Red Delicious’ primary usage is fresh eating. The original tree was discovered on a farm in Iowa in the 1870’s. Red Delicious was originally called “Hawkeye” before Stark Brothers Nursery bought the rights to the apple and renamed it. Each Apple Box contains 16 Premium, Non-Waxed, Fresh-Picked Apples. SHIPPING INFORMATION: This Apple Box is completely foam-packed; each individual apple has soft foam tightly surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. We pack your apple box with fresh apples that are the highest quality we have available. However, apples ripen quickly in hot temperatures while in transit. We highly recommend that you choose Expedited 2-3 Day Shipping (instead of up to 7 days in transit with Standard Ground shipping) during checkout if you live west of the Mississippi River. We have no control over distance to your address, nor how the shipping carrier stores the box during transit (including temperature), so if you chose Standard Ground shipping and the fruit arrives overripe, we most likely will not offer a refund, although you’re welcome to contact us about it. Our Golden Delicious apples are harvested fresh from our orchard, and only the finest are selected to be carefully hand-packed into our Apple Boxes.

All-Purpose: Snacking, Baking, Décor Golden Delicious has been our best-selling apple at our Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, market for years and years. It’s a fantastic all-purpose apple; think apple cobbler, applesauce, apple slices with caramel dip, apple pie, apple crisp – Golden Delicious can do it all. Kauffman’s Golden Delicious apples are premium quality, Kosher, non-GMO, and non-waxed, and are packed in a special apple box with soft, high-density foam to ensure protection during shipping.
