Edit: Hang on a minute. I don't even have a folder named "Discovery Freelancer 4.89.2" in that directory, only "Discovery Freelancer". What's going on here?
You are working behind a proxy or internal server that is restricting access to the patching server.
You are having internet issues and the client is unable to maintain the connection long enough to download it.
You do not have DSLauncher.exe currently present within the root folder.
Self Patch doesn't have write permission within that directory.
Potentially some other things, but I am not really in a position to assist at the moment. I would suggest running it as Admin, and attempting to use a VPN should that fail, for the time being. If errors continue with the new patching client, I'll post a quick remedy later this week for it. For now, however, I cannot help. Failing all the above, reinstall the game?

Thanks for the support, but it was none of those things. I edited my previous post, please read it.
Simply renaming the install folder from "Discovery Freelancer" to "Discovery Freelancer 4.89.2" fixed the problem.
