And instead of sticking to that as a way to encourage more player-to-player interaction (hey, someone could take the opportunity to RP as a provider of Barge jumping services!) you decided the Barge should be turned back to the solo hauling duty ?

At least it now has Docking modules...
I have only found out about the Barge buffs myself with the patch drop, I'll let Haste explain the reasoning behind the change.
And just like that, Akabat turned from one of the most important suppliers of water in the Omicrons into one of the most expensive sources of water.... Can Tokelau Ice Cloud in Delta at least be minable for water?

I forgot to reply to this.
The reasoning is pretty simple, really. The Barge got hit with a pretty sizeable nerf, as we all know. Giving it a bunch of extra utility slots is a buff that doesn't in any way impact its ability to earn unusually high amounts of credits per hour. It's "free", in a sense. So I gave it those buffs. Does it technically discourage co-op play like having a friend jump your Barge around? I suppose it does. But any random battleship can already jump solo. Do we want dedicated jumping ships because it's just too convenient to be able to jump around a combat ship on your own? I don't think so.
Anyhow, in return the Barge now has the option to bypass a bunch of slow travel time or a particularly dense asteroid field to get to a specific destination (let's say an ore mining field somewhere), which is a large quality of life buff for the ship. I think it's an impactful change that Barge owners will appreciate without "breaking the bank".

Not all ice is water. Palau Ice Cloud in Delta is already mineable for water too.
Personally I think there ought to be a lot of Non Used Fields be brought back and turned into base needs Water being one of them that could make people more interactive and not just go buy everything. Since water is so cheap, it should be mineable in most systems. I mean come on it is only 1 Credit in a lot of places.
Another Item is Scrap should be plentiful as well, and Premium scrap could be re-added and should have a lot better conversion than scrap metal to Basic Alloy maybe at least 4x to 6x of Basic Alloy or so to help keep up with POB needs. it could also be sought after highly for POB owners. each house should have at least 1 Premium scrap area. but the problem most POB's have is Cargo space.
Most POB Owners have a Problem with Limited Cargo space for all these new things
POB Internal Cargo Container
Is there a way that POB Owners can Make or Buy a Internal Cargo Container that would be mounted in a POB like things are mounted on Ships? even if it has to be mounted by ADMINs?
