Personnel Areas (Fort Ansel) The place where Enclave staff and associates can meet and interact with each other.
Fort Ansel presides over the verge of the Mérignac mountain range, not far from the south coast of the Caudéran continent. It is at the north border of the Enclave's territory. Beyond it is the wild and untamed land. Attempts to expand farther north were met with bombings and ambushes, presumably by the Gaians.
The Fort is the seat of the Enclave Defense Authority on planet Bordeaux. It serves as a command center, emergency shelter, training ground, troops garrison, storage facility, and a small spaceport. Being at constant risk of a Gaian attack, the Fort is well-defended at all times.
All Enclave military personnel, EDA or otherwise, have clearance to approach and enter Fort Ansel. However, specific areas may be off limits for people without sufficient security clearance.
Mess Hall
The mess hall of Fort Ansel is one of the few recreational areas. Commoners and non-commissioned personnel visit it when off duty. Crowded and noisy at all times, as people from different shifts change each other, the mess hall is the place to go if you'd like to be "a people's officer".
The screens broadcast vetted Gallic media, interrupted by imporant announcements and Uxeau News. Cards, chess, and even occasional alcoholic beverages can be found here (if you don't have a shift ahead of you). Fort Ansel command usually turns a blind eye to that, knowing that the people are overworked as it is. However, any mess of the wrong kind is quickly handled by security.
Lounge des Capitaines
Although called the "Captains' Lounge" informally, you don't need that rank to enter. The Lounge is the recreational section of Fort Ansel intended for any officers, nobility, and senior civilian staff. This is the place where any dignitaries visiting the Fort would be spending their free time.
The lounge is calmer than the mess hall, and offers more privacy. It boasts a greater choice of entertainment options: holoscreens with Gallic and even some vetted Sirian media of your choice, tabletop games, holotainment bands and a better selection of food and drinks.
Private Quarters
Every officer, noble, and dignitary visiting Fort Ansel gets an own room. Rooms are small, but each comes with a restroom and a shower cabin. There are slight differences depending on your rank, but the Fort is always considered a better place to be stationed at than any Enclave spaceship.
Bronze tier officers share one room, living in groups of four. Tier Argent live in groups of two, and the freed up space is used for their own private Neural Net terminals. A tier Or officer has a room entirely to himself or herself, and can occupy the free space with something else, depending on personal tastes: a bookshelf, a plant, or even an aquarium.

Ade yawned, stretched one last time, and finally got out of bed. After a couple of weeks of work, she finally managed to get a day off. And to top it off, at her own schedule. Although she was an Argent officer, and as such was supposed to share her room, nobody has been assigned here yet. That's why she took her time with the shower and dressing up. After adjusting her black jacket witout insignia one last time and tossing aside an unruly strand of her ginger hair, Ade walked out of the room. The door closed behind her automatically.
Lounge des Capitaines
Spring 743 A.G.S., 8:43 a.m.
With a glass of juice from some berry native to Bordeaux, Ade was sitting at one of the couches. Out of boredom, she picked up a remote from a nearby holo-screen, going through the archives of Uxeau News Network and some older materials from before the war. Eventually, she would stand up and grab a chess board from the shelf in the corner of the room. Putting it on the table in front of her and placing the figures, Ade stared at it absent-mindedly. Her initial thoughts above the first move quickly being pushed out by the Enclave's precarious position, and Ade's own role in that...
As he open his eyes, starts to rubbing them, his vision is little bit blurry, As he sits at the corner of his bed and his hands on his head seems he had a rough night,Is standing up walking over to the sink, Opening the stream splashing water towards his face, Is closing the stream. Franz walking over his Guitar picking it up and start to play few notes on it, After few minutes of practice on his guitar is walking over his shower. After the shower is taking his clothes from the chair is near his desktop, is walking out of his room looking to his left and right when the door automatically closed behind him.
Mess Hall
As he walking the long hallways and listening to the music on his earbuds, Is deciding to pull a chair at the nearby tables and take a seat there,His feet quite bouncy seems is excited to meet someone that would approach him but whom it will be?
Jean-Baptiste entered the lounge with an anxious expression on his face and stiffness in his strut. The newly promoted capitaine was nervous about meeting any of his peers, but in the words of his friend and mentor Ernest Cochet- "It's about goddamn time!"
Jean decided to start the day off with a hot cup of coffee and a couple of croissants. Moving through the lounge with a loaded platter he was frantically looking for a free table. The peace and quiet of the place didn't provide him with the cover he was used to when traversing the chaotic jungle that was the Mess Hall. This time his presence was noticed and he had to exchange some morning greetings with a few people. He received a frightening grin, belonging to someone standing at the bar across the room. He could swear that the man staring him down with such disdain was none other than Amiral Louis Clement himself. While contemplating on the reason behind this fearsome look, Jean tripped over and spilled his coffee in front of him. While swiftly attempting to clean up the mess he had made, he felt another set of eyes on him.
"Madam Commandant..." - was all his lips could mutter out from embarrassment.
It was one of these days when Lauren roamed around Taus, doing regular patrols, upholding Roi's will and all the chores expected from a loyal soldier. She liked it but even hard working soldiers need some well deserved time off duty, relax, replenish missing strenght and focus. This time she's decided to visit Fort Ansel and its Lounge des Capitaines on Bordeaux. Surface and fresh air, that's omething she hasn't felt for ages. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath, left her Lynx on the landing pad a headed inside. She quickly and carefully slipped through the mass of people moving, talking, laughing, drinking... She wasn't feeling well in these crowds, maybe it was her instinct she used to have in ONI or maybe it was just her personality.
Finally she managed to reach the entrance to Lounge des Capitanes, quiet, tidy and just perfect place for her. Just one thing caught her by surprise, a soldier trying to clean the mess, his face was familiar, yet she couldn't really remember.
Rose-Marie took a Caracal Light Fighter from Dutertre's shuttle bay despite having a shuttle available all times. She wanted to feel the control of nimble craft and the blazing speed after moving across the cold void of Burgundy and Hebrides area for so long. Using such a rare opportunity to have a proper rest and relax after a successful but costly operation, she headed for Fort Ansel's Captain's Lounge after landing her craft at the landing bay. While being the top rank aboard a Valor-Class resulted in very good amenities available to her, she could not replace the sight of a planet.
While she expected the place to be busier, she would not want to visit the always noisy mess hall yet. After a while, she saw a soldier cleaning the mess, as well as one other watching the scene. She smirked while approaching to the one who was watching it. "Poor guy."
Jeuge Duval arrives with his personal Lynx on the landing pad of Fort Ansel, shortly after leaving his Lynx, he takes the opportunity to smoke a cigarette and contemplate the landscape, after finishing his cigarette he directed them to the captain's lounge.
Lounge des Capitaines
When he arrived in the captain's lounge, he notice several people, some of whom were familiar to him, but he decided to isolate himself in a quiet corner, away from prying eyes, and to sit in a armchair to push himself away while listening to music with these headphones.
Lauren just kept watching the scene in front of her, it was a bad luck, crap happens all the time, but after all thanks to these events life is funny and enjoyable. She was rubbing her chin when a soldier approached her. "He truly is, but everyone will forget at some point, unless you want to mock him in the future." Lauren said but still kept her eyes on the mess. She was interested in it just because of her sense for details and this "detail" didn't really fit into this lounge. It wasn't bugging her that much all.
Few seconds later she turned to face soldier she talked with. "Are you here also for the first time? Just asking if you are familiar with menu here, I don't really want to order things they don't serve."
The scene with the spilled coffee distracted Ade from playing chess against herself. One could swear that a smirk quickly crossed Adelaide's usually unperturbed face. But even if so, it was only a momentary weakness. The Commandant quickly regained the plain expression—except for a raised eyebrow—and looked intently at the officer in question. "Madam Commandant..." was all that Jean-Baptiste could say about the mishap. Surely, he realized the extent of his failure. Coffee was almost a luxury by Enclave standards, and rationing was in effect.
"At ease, Capitaine Grenouille," she remarked it a rather formal manner, despite not wearing the uniform this time. Tilting her head, she leaned backwards on the sofa, a glass of berry juice in hand. "It was only a cup of coffee. You can try not spilling next one in..." the Commandant tilted her head, red hair falling on the shoulders. In her mind, she was calculating when Jean-Baptiste would get his next ration of coffee. "In 5 days, I believe."
Passenger transport lands on a dedicated landing pad. Behind the ship, the main hatch opens with the characteristic sound of pressure equalization. From the rather lighted passage you can see the silhouette of a redhead girl.
- "See you in 3 days, Lieutenant." - “Good rest for you, Director.”
Emeline goes on and with a sense of relaxation says: “The first day off, after so many months. Finally, I'm not on the ship.” She comes on to the main gate. The gates are small voice-controlled doors.
Emeline walks down the hall and sees the entrance to the Lounge des Capitaines. She turned her head straight, went on. “I'll go there later.” Emeline said to herself.
Walking further down the corridor, she went into the elevator and pressed the "-5" button. The door closed and the elevator drove down.
After some time, she was already approaching her room. Looking carefully at her holographic wrist computer, for a long time she could not find her room. “Room 75, sort of, it's around here. Here, I’ve found it.”
At the door to the room, there is a panel for entering a password. Emeline looked at the password on the computer and typed it on the panel. The door opened and a red-haired girl entered the room.
To her surprise, the room was a bit smaller than her berthing on Alsace and all the more smaller than her luxurious berthing on Le Monarque. "Well, here I will rest from work." She said with slight contempt.
Emeline went to the locker and began to undress, at the same time choosing what she would put on. - “So, it doesn’t work, same, same. But I’ll put it on.”
She chose a rather luxurious outfit, the only one that was not a military uniform. Putting a sweater and pants on a chair, she went to the shower.
Some time has passed. As soon as she started to leave, she put on a towel and sat down at the computer table on which there was a terminal with access to all the ships of Enclave. - "Apparently La'Row has already flown in. I’ll wait for my hair to dry and go to her."
