There is no logic in maintaining ships with slightly different textures on model, as it was with ga2 (confederal) ship line, kusari imperial snubs, else. There also no logic in keeping the old, ugly and badly done corsair bomber when a much better replacement is on scene. Having two bombers to same faction will also break the fragile limits, because there is no other faction that has 2 ships of same class. No longer

Suspected source of these crashes was resoluted, hence I hope it fixed it. Looking at server graphs I see there was no crash so far

THIS! What was wrong with Praetorian and why was it changed to this new ship? I don't know anyone who asked for this and many dislike that it was removed. Why fix something that's completely fine?
Dear dev team, please don't remove this awesome ship from the game.
Many of us really love flying it and hate the idea that it is being removed.
The new ship is not even close to what Praetorian is, it's a completely different thing. Corsairs are more focused on heavier side of the ship classes, so why change that to a complete opposite?
Even in bomber rework thread a comment was written here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2223395
"I can't express my disappointment that this ship isnt a heavy bomber. We can't exactly make it one considering its size, but that doesn't make me any less upset. It's a Corsair ship and it's a medium. What a tragedy."
But it's fine as it is. It still makes way more sense than replacing it with a light bomber.
This being my favorite ship since 2010 and completely being removed is just hearbreaking.
I don't mind the new model. I'll probably never use it . Removal of the old one for no reason is what myself and a lot others are upset about.
So, PLEASE, keep the original Praetorian, even if it gets sold for a price of a capital ship!
All heavy BS powercores are still quite broken, in my opinion. Heavy battleships that already have armour advantage over some of their heavy opponents have now also got a powercore advantage. Legate vs Bismarck is an example (Legate 2.45 mils hull, 385K recharge vs Bismarck 2.9 mils hull 430K recharge). The Ishtar and the old Marduk also fall out of line with their combination of high powercore AND high armour, as does the Nephilim (albeit the Zoners aren't at war with anyone except the Noms). The Deimos is borderline, as it has a medium hull for a heavy BS, but still a very strong powercore.

They're now generally at the power level of the Rheinland Blackmarket Frigate (previously just named Rheinland Blackmarket Transport, I think). So a bunch more armor, larger powercores, a Gunboat shield, that sort of thing. They're more Gunboat-like than they are Transport-like.
