Gallic Presence in Bretonia to End?
Planet New London, New London - A victorious statement has been made in the name of her majesty the Queen of Bretonia. The statement covers the events of the Bretonian fleet in the Edinburgh system; with the reinforcements of the Battleship Essex, the Bretonian fleet was successful in pushing the Royal Enclave out of the system.
The loathed Battleship Dax, known for its many war crimes during the Gallic war, has been spotted retreating. While the lack of its destruction is lamentable, it is still reassuring that the threat posed by these terrorists is now significantly decreased.
The Bretonian fleet, pleased with its results, has mostly pulled back to reinforce the Leeds system. With the Royal Enclave pushed out of Edinburgh expectations are that the system will be safer for the rebuilding efforts.
While it is as of yet unclear where the Royal Enclave has retreated to, they made sure to leave Edinburgh as devoid of resources as possible. Assumed to have dismantled the Jump Gate, it is unlikely the system will be properly colonized or otherwise utilized in the foreseeable future.
