Warning! Alien entities are known to habitate in Omircon Delta. Avoid all 'Unknown' type vessels.
Delta Mining Corp. ,or DMC as it is colloquially known, is a mid-sized mining outpost located in the Shadow of the gas giant Tuvalu in the south eastern quadrant of Omicron Delta. Recently acquired by the Phoenix Zoners, it represents the headquarters of the groups trades efforts in the region.
Through exploration of the nearby Tokelau ice field the field valuable deposits of Iridium Ore are exploited and stored on the facility and transported to shipyards and factories across Sirius. Until recently, the base also served as a centralized hub for scientific vessels researching the various space born anomalies found in near-by Omicron Lost.
However, with the growing demand for Iridium Ore, ships from all parts of Sirius had been seeking access to the facility. This soon became overwhelming to the light security presence on the station and docking restrictions were placed on ships without formal trade relations with Phoenix. A solution to this issue was found by opening up a holding area at Athens Station, adjacent to Freeport 11, for non-verified trade vessels to purchase from. The Scientific Data Assay Offices were also moved there to continue to support continued research in the surrounding sectors.
The facility has had a long-standing policy of being open for trade with all non-hostile parties who frequent the region, even prior to the acquisition by Phoenix. While the base itself is lightly armed, it is guarded by the combat wing of the Phoenix Trade Fleet, including a Carrier and Cruiser escort.

Delta Mining Corp. Mining Center (Note: Docking Access Required)
We are excited to announce the official 'soft opening' of our new mining and exploration facility in Omicron Delta!
We are however only able to commit this time to a limited launch under the advice of our corporate security and mining departments. This means that while the base is open to docking to all persons friendly to the Edge World Zoners, the exact location will only be shared to our local partners over private channels. We also invite both haulers and miners to contact any |DMC| tagged vessel to talk directly to a field officer who can verify location to approved parties. We plan to make a full launch and announce our position publicly once we are able to ensure a steady supply of ore to the base as well as being able to provide detailed navigational charts for Captains unfamiliar with the large Alien anomaly located in the Palau ice cloud. This is a severe navigational hazard and must be plotted with care.
I also wanted to thank the various factions and independent ships that have so graciously assisted us in our construction and mining efforts so far. The support we have found in this harsh region has been a most welcome surprise and I earnestly look forward to our continued work together and our mutual profit.
That being said, I am pleased to inform our partners of our introductory price of 3000 CREDITS for a limited time! This price is likely to fluctuate depending on a variety of factors so grab this deal while this lasts!
Please continue to check in on this channel for further updates. The 1st notice in this channel with convert to a quick access status screen for the base closer to our official grand opening.
Thank you again. We are happy to work with you all.
I hope this message finds you very well.
President Toccata speaking, representative of Toccata Industries Corporation.
Happily we have found that we are not alone in the hard work.
We can send a delegation to yours, so we can discuss future working operations in the region.
Or you can visit us anytime, we will take care for your crew to feel as at home.
Please forgive my delayed response to your message.
It would seem our ships crews have gone before us and have made great friends out in the mining zone. Of course you and yours are always welcome on the station. We are excited to be working with you and TIC. Please keep any eye on your comms over the next few days. We will be moving to the next phase of opening the facility to the public so stay tuned for that.
OFFICIAL STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION FROM CHIEF OF OPERATIONS
My Friends,
I am pleased to share an update on the current base status and operational changes to Delta Mining Corp. with all of you. Much has happened in the short time we have been in operation, and most of it unexpected. We have recovered from an unfortunate mass power-loss of the facility that left us unfortunately adrift for over a week. During this time we were unable to stock ore to our full capacity which may have led to some price fluctuations at some of the main sell points. We have towed the base to its new position, now safely nested in high orbit of the gas giant, Tuvalu. This new position gives us unrivaled access to the Iridium Fields and I believe will more than make up for the delays we experienced. This includes completion of the hull superstructure, which currently sits at 75% completion. Our cargo vessels are working double shifts to ensure readiness of required materials to diminish the chance of any further construction delays.
And now for the good news.
We could never have anticipated the popularity of our ores on the market. Our fleet stocked the base to capacity just today, and the base was sold out within a matter of hours! While this is a most welcome circumstance we have to make consideration to our friends who have financed and protected our operation and groups that have reached out in the spirit of peaceful trade. It was not an easy decision, but we have decided to temporarily restrict docking access to give priority to our partners. Stakeholders should know that prior arraignments will stand and a communication channel will be created for application of docking rights. This will of course be lifted upon completion of first a level 2 upgrade to the base superstructure and construction of additional cargo storage holds. We plan to start our Core 2 update immediately upon completion of the core superstructure. With the necessity to insure proper docking clearances, I will ask our stakeholders to please make a docking access request with the correct identifying tag to alleviate any errors.
This unprecedented demand has also made us readdress our pricing models. We are now moving to a flat percentage which we believe will allow for a fair price to our partners and to Delta Mining Corp.. From now on the base will charge 26.5% of the current high selling point of Iridium Ore at Sabbath Shipyard. 26.5% of $13213 works out to an asking price of 3500/tonne of ore. This still leaves a near 300% profit margin for our clients, so I really do not expect nor will accept any blow back on the issue. I have also instructed our mining ships to offer direct filling for $2000 per unit, and lower at their discretion should the vessel be willing to assist filling the base.
This concludes my update for you all. This is a very exciting moment for DMC and for Omicron Delta, and I am honored to have a prime seat to experience all of it.

Greetings sir,
Yes we do sell anomaly data gathered by explorer ships to interested parties, and we would consider purchasing it in bulk quantities right now as recent events have not allowed us to seek new data in some time.
This is the sort of deal I would rather make personally as direct transfer of this sort of item to the base is tricky to say the least when it comes to ensuring everyone makes a fair profit by it.
Please let me know how much data you currently have to sell and I will make you an offer.
Delta Mining Corporation has been acquired by the Phoenix Zoners. No major changes to base operations are expected at this time. Please note that all |DMC| tagged vessels will be transferred to (\^/) tag. Requests for onsite mining can be made to these tagged vessels located in Omicron Delta. All requests being made in regards to Delta Mining Corp. will remain on this channel.
Richard Regan will remain as base chief of operations.
We look forward to working with our new ownership group in the continuance of our goal of adding wealth and prosperity to Omicron Delta and its citizens.
After a brief shutdown to allow us to focus on base expansion, we are please to announce the reopening of Delta Mining Corp. to the general public! We thank you for your patience during this time, and look forward to continuing business as usual with all our friends.
