Long requested for by councils of JiangXi and finally deployed in 834as, Fujian Orbital is designed to supplement JiangXi's troubled agricultural sector by moving production to orbit. Isolated from destructive weather and alien diseases, Fujian taken to grow Earth and Cambridge native crops. Although food supply across Coalition remains highly troubled, Fujian Orbital has been praised for improving variety and quality of food available to coalition citizens.
Three months after stations deployment, battlegroup 'Grain' tasked with guarding Fujian and then - consisting of destroyer CPW-Zerno, carrier CPW-Pravo-na-Zerno, frigate CPR-Graineater, liner/support ship CPS-Buckwheat and a wing of fighters under command of 'Millet' was severely damaged in battle against corsairs. All ships in the battlegroup had to return to Aralsk shipyard for month long repair and overhaul. In this time Fujian was left without supply and sufficient protection, North War Industries were contacted to take over defense of the station. Over following months Fujian leased out starbase module space to NWI, the station together with it's defensive battlegroup 'Grain' increasingly integrated into NWI operations.
Station operated a short lived MOX plant between 834/03 to 834/06. Safety concerns and troubled economic viability were driving motivations to move production facility to Volgograd.

Fujian Orbital operates two starship module factories.
Factory A: Docking module factory
Factory B: Cloaking module factory
These factories are primarily intended to outfit Coalition vessels in accordance to coalition deep battle doctrine, providing greater tactical options to craft operating in enemy territory.
Coalition cloaking devices are all human technology, adapted from ancient designs operated by Coalition of Sol, enclosed in tamper proof casing as impenetrable as one of Ageira white boxes to guard its design secrets.
All prices are in M - indicating million credits.
Given interconnected market of Sirius, possibility of our craftsmanship ending up in enemy hands is even greater concern than usual possibility of these devices being captured from disabled craft. As such all prices are marked up above coalitions planned cost calculations.
Ships of friendly factions which provide document describing goals of the ships crew and request telling why crew needs the device, can apply for cost reduction of up to 70% on all Fujian Devices.
In emergency situations, when battle is imminent and if these devices have potential to save lives of Coalition and Hessian pilots, Devices can be claimed without any cost to the ship. Rule applies most to Coalition Small-craft service module.
