In what terms does the CSV differ from other snubs? The proposed change is purely looking at ships that are uniquely differing from the class they are supposedly part of - which there are only a handful of. Adding those few names to that classification list doesn't hurt anyone and certainly won't make people go "Oh no, these rules are so long now!".
Ideally, having all ship infocards have a little addition what ship class they are part of is the alternative solution, but I doubt the infocard devs want to bother doing that for the hundreds of ships that are in the game. Making a comparatively tiny change to the classification list in the server rules is really all that it takes, and the argument about this becoming a lengthy thing long-term is absurd, unless we suddenly have five new Swallows to add new ship models that aren't part of any existing class.
Fact is, there needs to be some clarification on what the Bustard, the Corvo and the Dunlin are part of, simply so new players definitely know that all IDs lacking the cruiser/battleship line can use those ships despite them using equipment of higher-class ships. I am 100% sure that the rules did clarify the Corvo and the Bustards specifically in the past and nobody died because of it.
