Alejandro Duran, age 47, Born in Diktaean on Crete. I've grown up in military bases and Battleships as my father was an Admiral at a Fleet stationed at Leon Base.
Because i've spent so much time around him,i developed a sense of strategy and knowledge of the enemies of the Empire. I remember him saying, "more important than the guns you use, its to know how to use them, and against whom".
Whenever my father went to talk with the elders, I accompanied him. They always valued my fathers strategy, skills and knowledge, that can only be achieved in the battlefield.
To be part of TBH, is to honour my fathers achievements and memory, and an achievement few manage to be choosen for. So is with great joy that i am doing this application form to be part of one of the most respected line of defense of the Corsair Empire.
I'm the older son of 6, so my father made me be with him since young age, so i "could learn the ways of the Corsairs, and how to survive the harsh conditions we had to endure." he said to me.
I was on the bridge most of the time, when battles with the Hessians were going on, and seen how he was dealing with it. Sometimes he asked me for advice, i think for his amusement. Most of my days were spent studying, history, strategy, inovations and research were some of the topics.
When i was only 33 i got my first ship to command, a cruiser stationed at Cadiz. What changed me completly hapenned after a battle in Gamma, 10 years later, when i was comanding another vessel, a legate named "Evolution", we were outnumbered and i was taken prisioner to a Malta prison. Was the most hard experience i ever had to endure. They spared my life because i was more valuable alive then dead, so at a point i was assigned to a research team. There i developed a relationship with a Gaian prisoner, that had a good friend in the Research Ships Maintenance, and ultimatly was the architect of our escape from Malta. The Research vessel had actually Outcast reasearch data on the hard drives. We were rescued by a TBH patrol while crossing one of the border systems of Gamma.
Upon arrival to Crete i was greeted by some of the Elders, that couldn't believe i was still alive, and thats how i got to be here now, filling this application, to be a proud TBH member.
It is good to see that you took time and properly recovered your health and strenght after that long and awful experience with the Outcasts before visiting our recruitment office. I have a lot of positive memories of you and Evolution, the Legate class dreadnought that you were commanding and many battles that we were part of together. I think your skills and experience would be valuable to any force in Sirius, so we're highly welcoming your presence here. We hope to learn something from you, and vice versa.
Naturally, you have been ACCEPTED to the Brotherhood. It's an honor to have you in our ranks, senor Duran!
The Brothehood has freshly reworked on the application format for future candidates who wish to join one of the oldest group of corsair within the empire.

Region from the empire: Attica, Crete (Omicron Gamma) - Former Liberty citizen of Manhattan
Why do you want to join?: Rejoin. The elders graciously granted my personal leave to investigate the strange circumstances of my father's death. Following this I spent a few years spending time with my sisters and their families at Attica. My nieces and nephews have grown, my sisters are well looked after, and I wish to return to active service.
What are capacities and what do you want to bring to the empire?: I am a returning veteran. I bring with me my experience in managing and piloting capital-class vessels ranging from gunboats to heavy battleships. I have experience in commanding both small squadrons and large fleets. Since becoming a non-citizen national I've provided this naval expertise to The Brotherhood, and in my time spent planet-side I've provided medical and bio-mechanical implant services.
Biography: I was born on Manhattan, an Admiral's son and groomed to follow in his father's footsteps. When I was only ten years old, I watched as my father mercilessly fired upon a transport carrying Corsair and Gaian civilians, including women and children. Disgusted by his actions, as soon as I graduated from the academy and had a ship of my own, I fled - along with my two sisters - as far away from Liberty space as possible. Our travels eventually led us to Cadiz after our ship had been attacked by Hessians. A Corsair squadron, led by General Rivera, swooped in to engage the Hessians and with their help, we dispatched them. A man of unwavering honor and dignity, General Rivera and his Corsairs escorted us to Cadiz and permitted us to make use of the station to repair our ship. It was here I met an eldery woman that described, in detail, the atrocity my father had committed years prior. I learned her daughter was killed, along with her infant granddaughter and soon-to-be son in law for nothing more than the crime of being Corsair - for being "pirates". General Rivera noticed my reaction to the woman's story, took me aside and made me an offer: Avenge this atrocity and repay this debt by joining the Brotherhood.
Lunga vita all'impero! Long live the Empire!

How long have you been playing Freelancer Discovery for?: Played for a few years after joining in 2008. I don't recall exactly when I stopped playing but it was around 2010-2011. My old application is actually still up on page 4.
How familiar are you with the lore of corsairs?: Very familiar.
How would you rate your RP skills out of 10?: 8-9 I take RP very seriously and consider myself better than most. I DM D&D for friends and family as well so I'm no stranger to getting into character.
How would you rate your PvP skills out of 10? What ship-types are you good in?: Probably on the lower end for now. Shaking off ~10 years of rust but I still have the muscle memory from back in the day. As of right now I'd probably be at a 5 but I am confident I could get back up to a 7 or 8. I flew a gunboat on here back in the day, and prefer to fly (and am best at flying) capital vessels. Primarily flew battleships in Freelancer Combat Evolved, 88 Flak and a Star Wars server I can't recall the name of (might have been Tides of War when I came back to playing Freelancer for a bit before IRL took a turn for the worse)

I can commend your commitment and interest to support our Empire and the Brotherhood, that is, if this unlikely story is even true. We've revieved your biography and we were all left confused. You are a former Liberty citizen born on planet Manhattan, so we are curious how have you managed to join our ranks and who are the elders that approved it? This sounds highly unlikely to happen, especially without any background about your story that can confirm it or any records of your service in the Brotherhood archives. And you are a son of the Liberty Navy admiral? I am wondering if is this an attempt to make our former Tribune Werss return to the scene, if the old hombre is even alive. If not, he must be rolling in his grave. Poor bastardo had some kind of a beef against Libertonians, so, this is a perfect story to resurrect him.
Unfortunately, we think you made a mistake here, senor Daemos. Only people of Crete born from a pure bloodline get accepted as Corsairs, therefore, you cannot become a member of the Brotherhood. Your application has been rejected.
What we can do is offer you to work for the Corsair Empire as a freelancer or mercenary. Muy bien pesos can be earned and I'm sure we can find a way to cooperate, if you are feeling daring to take the risks it takes to do the job. I can guarantee it'll be worth it, as long as you don't get killed.
Region from the empire: High City of Heraklion, Mesis district.
Why do you want to join?: I was raised as a warrior, and I'll do my part to the bitter end.
What are capacities and what do you want to bring to the empire?: My loyalty, and my whole expertise - from firearms handling to piloting and maintaining small spacecraft, will be in service to the Imperio, and the brothers.
Biography: Youngest daughter to Loredo familia, aristocrats native to High City of Heraklion, earning their notoriety for their strict and rigorous training program and providing many modest but capable soldiers for Crete. Lupe wasn't any different, undergoing this very program focusing not so much on her physical education as much as on raising her confidence and self-esteem, Loredo's etiquette. Along with regular education, an emphasis was made on physical education, theory of tactics, at the age of fourteenth she was first introduced to firearms, firing her first shots and learning to taking apart and putting back together some standart issue sirian arms. At the age of eighteen, Lupe first accomodated herself in a seat of a space superiority fighter - an actual Titan, no simulations, Loredo only appreciated the raw experience - but not mindlessly, not letting her leave the atmosphere until confident she's fit for it. The final test was taking to space of Gamma, fighting the enemies of Corsairs. If she doesn't return alive until it's deemed complete - then, she wasn't fit to be one, yet another Loredo's knight. But Lupe is still here, and it is time for her to take to the space in a new capacity.
