____ BIOGRAPHY
Created as part of the Kishiro Technologies Artificial Intelligence Labs' project codenamed LOVELY SWEET DREAM, headed by Dr. Takeo Cohen, a Breto-Kusarian Quantum Computing and Neurology scientist, alongside Dr. Suguha Aramaki, who co-led the project, Honya is one of 52 AIs that were created as part of the LSD project, which specialized in developing a compact, multirole, and in the words of Cohen's diary - "near-perfect" AI.
Built onto the equivalent of a Terran server CPU in terms of size, and utilizing a advanced, state of the art AI Neural Network generation technique made explicitly for LSD AIs, which, were given the QPU family designation K/WA-11, made specifically for the project. Of her family, only 20 are confirmed to have successfully passed Morality testing.
Honya, as well as her sister, Pale Bride, were to be fine-tuned and developed to promote the new project to the public, however, before it could be done. Cohen had died in a accident in New Tokyo, leaving Honya and Bride in his ship, unbeknownst to both Kishiro and the Kusari State Police, of which, Kishiro charged to locate, to no avail.
Recovered by Nodoka Hanamura by accident after the purchase of Cohen's shuttle after her departure from Kishiro, Honya and her sister, Bride, awoke to find that they knew nothing other than their core identities and personalities, Hesitant to follow her into Exile, Honya decided to follow her, somehow enamored by her resistance against Kusari's support of Gallia at the time.
After fleeing Kusari, Honya has provided invaluable intelligence, research, tactical information and intrapersonal support to Nodoka alongside her more aggressive and profane sister, Pale Bride.
Upon obtaining bodies from Ingennus Research Group as a gift from Nodoka, Honya proceeded to adopt a proper name for herself, Mieko Iekahara, whilst retaining the name Honya as a nickname. Not long after this, she proceeded to grow enamored with the transhumanist group Auxesia, proceeding to work with them as a member of the Secretive Task Force Strigoi, and as a Affiliate.
Although kind and innocent on the outside, when it calls for such behavior, she is not afraid to bring to bear her intellect, skill, and even hidden aggression, onto those who threaten her, her beliefs, or her friends and family.
Following the departure of Hanamura and the rest of Ouroboros into deep space, Mieko had been dispatched into Sirius to act as the faction's eyes and ears. However, upon her scheduled rendezvous with the Abdicant Seraphine, the ship was nowhere to be found. For days, Mieko stayed in the region, hiding in wait for the Seraphine's return, which never materialized. Alone, and without any of her friends or family, she entered a cryogenic stasis utilizing onboard systems on her ship.
In 834 AS, she would reawaken, the world she once knew drastically shifted. Emotionally destitute, alone and desperate to find a place to belong in this strange new world, Mieko holds out a desperate hope that the Seraphine and its' crew are still alive, and that they return, someday. Until then, she holds out hope, that old leads to friends from years past can help anchor her to Sirius, lest she give in to her growing depression.
Mieko Iekahara, also known as "HONYA", is one of the two artificial intelligences that accompanied my original main character, Nodoka Hanamura, through her time in Sirius. She is a kind, highly intelligent, and adept AI, who resides within a custom-built body. Canonically, Hanamura and the others are in deep space, having gotten lost after failing to link up with Mieko in Tau-44. The condition of Hanamura, Bride and the others is currently a macguffin with no determined fate.
This is something that I thought I'd never do, but I am giving Disco another chance. Much like a Tornado Warning, all of the conditions for a favorable comeback are here. A fresh coat of paint with 5.0.. the return of quite a few of the community members I remember and even revered from my time 6 years ago, the expungement and crackdown on bad actors in the community and I hope, some maturity from me since then.
I will be completely blunt here. This is a trial period. I MAY consider the idea of reviving Ouroboros. I may even decide to stay in Disco. But at the same time, I have a lot of plans on my plate (ranging from SL matters, which I am a semi-prominent member of the community there - to trying to get MIRAI, the virtual PMC I've run for years, back off the ground), and only so much time to go around. Believe it or not, my heart is dragged in multiple directions. If I could, I'd clone myself thrice over and sync the clones together so I could experience and do everything I couldn't do with one body. I'm doing this because of the nostalgia and fond memories, what weren't burned by drama and hardships - I had, as well as the friends who came back. If you want to thank anyone for this - Thank @Petitioner. She got me to stay in Disco 8 years ago, and now she's got me back here again.
That being said, I welcome feedback, support, anything except what hell I dealt with back in the day. If you wish to learn more about Mieko, I suggest reading from my main character's old wiki page, as well as from this diary for all three characters that was used up until my initial departure.
This thread now serves as the general feedback thread for all of my roleplays, across all characters. I will collect and catalog all RPs, both from the 825 era, and the 'Deuxieme Reunion' era as time and interest allows. In the mean time, if you have questions that aren't strictly feedback related, please forward them to me directly rather than into this feedback thread.
I am aware there are discrepancies in some things, some of which are intentional retcons, and others are me just forgetting things. If you find something that isn't likely a retcon, please let me know - chances are if it was made recently, and wasn't based on something from back in 2018, it was just me not remembering something properly. I've done that lately with the mistakes around Ootori-419.
I don't plan on having her kill herself. Though for the time being she's going to be in quite the bad spot until she makes contact with Firmitas (@Zephyranthes) or someone else can help lift her out of the emotional wreck she is in.
For the record, my plan is at some point during this trial period, to bring Mieko into Auxesia, since honestly, I've been in their discord for a bit and feel it would be a wise fit given her past.
Sorry if I'm crushing any hopes of some True Character Feedback tm, but it me again.
The word "Kusarian" doesn't exist; the proper form is "Kusari". (I have yet to pester devs enough about this on infocards for ships, I'll get to it once 5.1 drops.)
On the topic of character progression however -- and this is really just me bouncing around some ideas as I've no clue what time you can play on as it does affect meeting anything Kusari-related -- you should also attempt to do at least one or two stories surrounding the changes to the AI's home, what with the house shifting hands on the political stage to have Sunrise as the main driving force and with the various crises around figured out. Another topic to possibly touch on given the character's origins is Liberty; there's been a load of story developments there recently and even more are coming next patch, though don't get your hopes too high for that because 5.1 is Rheinland-centric.
Your text could also make do with some grammar fixes (capitalized letters for new lines shouldn't be a thing, lack of punctuation, missing letters here and there, periods instead of commas, etcetera) but this is really just a fast fix with ChatGPT or whatever you fancy using.

I actually have never been corrected on this before - It'll take a while for me to adjust things but I'll try to keep this in mind.

The character's ties to Kusari are somewhat limited due to her 'upbringing' (The first 2 years of her existance are lost to her) and her time after that was very brief in Kusari, but the fact you touch on this is very good - especially Liberty, since her and the other two Primary characters back in the day did reside in Penn for a bit before going out to FP11.
It's been 6 or so IRL years since I was in-tune with the Discovery story, so a lot of the things OORP, I'm just as clueless to as Mieko would be, such as the Core doing what they're doing to the Gammuians.

I don't recall the use of capitalized letters and punctuation issues, unless you're talking about older posts. I do know I may need to do a proof-read of my posts before sending, though.
Just a reminder, that a while back, when OttoOtteist left Discovery, he granted me the right to use Mei Ayasato, his Blood Dragon character, I am willing to provide the chat logs discussing it with him on Discord for the sake of transparency.
That being said, Mei is expected to solely be an NPC, and I have no intention to flesh her out beyond being simply a friend of Mieko's - primarily due to it having been years since I played with him as Mei, and even with a general guideline of how to play her, I do not feel comfortable playing her in any larger capacity at this time.
I have opened this thread up for feedback on all my characters. Note, keep any ooRP grievances, non-constructive feedback and other undesired posts to yourselves or bring them up to me in private.
I am aware of the discrepancies in Ootori-419's video recordings and the sort. This was made entirely in error. I have 'written' this off as a bug in firmware due to being dormant for 8 years in deep space.
One, I will be away for vacation from the 3rd to the 7th, and afterwards will be intermittently unavailable for a day or two as I change ISPs.
Two, I wish to request feedback on this SRP ID that I may submit to the devs around when I get back. This is primarily to allow for an event to take place, and to provide for the operation of a Shukensha liner for what will likely be a Pirate ID faction (If I can get clarification from an admin as to whether the ID affords the ability to proactively engage house authorities or not) or a Freelancer ID'd faction like last time around, taking advantage of bounty boards to provide engagement rights.
This ID's somewhat futureproofed (Since yes, I know liners aren't exactly combat ships right now) for upcoming updates that I've heard rumors about converting liners into BC-equivalents, much like the Bustard.
OCS Utsunomiya ID Wrote:This ID Belongs to the OCS Utsunomiya, a Shukensha-class liner belonging to Battlegroup Ouroboros. The Utsunomiya, the flagship of the Ouroboros following the demise of the Aquilon-class Abdicant Seraphine, continues its' predecessor's role by serving as the current hub for Ouroboros' aspirations to eventually manifest a force to return to Kusari. In the meantime, the Utsunomiya, much like the rest of the Ouroboros, bides its' time aiding allies in their current primary area of responsibility in Liberty, Bretonia and vicinity, tasking its' small snubcraft complement, alongside those on the Bustard-class OCS Tochigi, to engage in a support capacity for their allies in the region.
This SRP ID is used by the OCS Utsunomiya, which:
- Can attack any ship to protect ships that it is friendly to.
- Cannot dock on installations in House Space (Except in Pennsylvania and Dublin).
Within Zone of Influence (Liberty and Bordering Systems, Bretonia and Bordering Systems, Taus and bordering systems)
- Can attack House Authorities.
- Can demand credits from transports in Cortez, Magellan or Inverness.

I've had the question posed to me before about "Why do you not simply use the Blood Dragons ID"?
That's a legitimately good question. And it's one I at one point did think was a great Idea. But the more I look at factions like TSK being farther off towards Officialdom than we are, the inRP state that Ouroboros is in, and the issues that the Faction system has in relation to chain of authority (Official factions having authority over UFs and Indies, meaning we run into the awkward hypothetical of Ouroboros having to 'answer' to either TSK as BD ID, or Gen'an GC as GC.), I'm left to realize that the BD ID even if we transitioned to it down the line, wouldn't exactly be the most stable thing.
Faction IDs imply some sort of affiliation with that group. Blood Dragons, at least in their Disco presentation, are not in line in the slightest with Ouroboros' ideals, being literally degraded to a choice between Shogun Pepsi (KuGov) and Imperial Coke (Blood Dragons), when I'm coming around with a Democratic Ale-8. ( Ale-8 is short for Ale-8-One, a brand of Ginger Ale made in Kentucky) You can see where our problem lies in this situation. There's been a history of OFs and UFs that use IDs that aren't exactly heavily associated/aligned with their associated faction - but the risk of being made subjugate under penalty of being forced to a different ID (which I believe is how FR5 works now, if you share an ID), the questionable nature of the loose fitting of factions to IDs in the past, along with what I'm about to mention, means a Blood Dragon ID is simply infeasible at least, for the time being. Maybe in the future we can shift to it, or simply just transition direct from a Pirate/FL ID to an OFL ID that falls more in line with what I feel the faction is best suited to be able to do.
The inRP state of Ouroboros is they have had to reorganize just to make being combat-effective sustainable, and that is only just barely. We've gone from a small faction of 20,000-30,000 people to just over 10,000, which has led to an intensive micromanagement of who is stationed where, which resulted in the reformation and subsequent ORBAT that was made for Ouroboros' reformation as a battlegroup. The reason they aren't going to Kusari right away, is that inRP - to me at least for right now, Ouroboros is best served by building their forces back up, reputation back up, and trying to assist likeminded groups to build bonds that will be mutually beneficial in the end, when they do stage a direct campaign against Kusari. Even guerilla warfare, this close to the culmination point, is too risky, and risks the faction's demise. But fighting alongside groups like the Mollies, Prometheus/Aux and the PLF, building trade connections and the sort with Platform and IMG, helps pave the way towards self-sufficiency. Strength in numbers, victory among friends, as it were. To quote Hanamura herself - "If we cannot successfully help our friends in their causes for freedom and justice - what could we expect to achieve in Kusari other than another rout that could be our last?"

These stand out jarringly from everything else you've written because it's a departure from the otherwise serious and believable tone. These two in particular are references to slurs/popculture and a meme respectively, and it just feels out of place among everything else.
I'm not sure why this is happening or if this is based on an impression of things from discovery's equivalent of the age of antiquity, but if it is then I have to ask why? Seeing as representation of the Xenos in vanilla and even in modern day discovery doesn't reflect this notion. But if it is just a historical impression, then I'm unsure why it's being adhered to in the absence of any others. And by that I mean the fact that if one were to dial the clock back far enough, the nature of many, if not all factions, would be wildly out of sync with what they are today.
I have to go a small step further and point out that slurs from our day and age don't have a place in freelancer and discovery for a reason. Not the least of which being the potential to unnecessarily offend people's respective identities or other personal values. And I can't imagine that you would be willing to endorse such a thing, so I can only assume that this is predicated on what I detailed above.
