FROM: Rear Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer TO: 46th| Lower Ranks SUBJECT: Omicron Nu Recommendation Fellow officers,
After monitoring the situation in Omicron Nu I want to give you the recommendation to direct your main patrol routes to other areas of Liberty, and enter Omicron Nu only for specific missions, preferably with members of high command.
Despite the directive of The Liberty Government it appears that one of the Liberty's Intelligence Agencies and several Navy officers, including members of The Primary Fleet are openly allowing The Coalition-Allying Order capital fleets operate in the system unopposed. This, on top of the confusing outdated Liberty vessels being extremely aggressive without ever answering hails, Nomad and other unidentified vessels that do answer hails but shoot everything in sight leads me to believe that we should focus our efforts elsewhere.
We are a newly formed Strike Force, and I am very reluctant to thrust especially you - our valliant fresh recruits - into such a confusing environment where you can't tell a friend from a foe.
I am not issuing you a direct order forbidding you from entering the system - If a Primary Fleet Officer needs your urgent help or if 46th High Command enters the area for a specific mission - by all means. But for your regular patrols - simply direct your attention to other Liberty space and their adjacent systems.
FROM: Rear Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer TO: 46th| SUBJECT: Honor Fellow officers,
As you know today I have offered insurgent IN|G-INS-Iblis a one on one fight, and called off our six strong fleet even though we could have instantly shot the vessel down. [] 46th|LNS-Scarlet: 46th stand down. I will give this man a fight
Very soon this was abused by The Insurgents, who repeatedly cruised point blank on my vessel in a battleship, IN|H-INS-Enterprise and even joined with another battlecruiser |=DSS=|CV-"Alaska". All of which opened fire at once and disabled my vessel - I was lucky to even come out alive when our escape pods were retrieved. I am grateful they didn't shoot those in cold blood.
One thing I want to say - do not be discouraged by their behavior. The Insurgency no longer makes any sense and is running on fumes. The once proud pilots who kept calling us "corrupt" and pretended they have moral high ground now themselves must see the corruption in flying side by side with drug trafficking Outcasts and Rogues and other criminals that are terrorising the honest common people of Liberty.
They don't even pretend anymore they know what they are fighting for. [] 46th|LNS-Scarlet: Van Leer: why would you fly with The Insurgents anyways, it doesn't seem to make sense
[] IN|G-INS-Iblis: ?:Because I can.
It has already happened - Since Bering their numbers have dwindled so much that our Government more or less ignores them as a serious threat and sends combat ships to help our Allies on one side and expands into an Omicron system on the other instead.
More and more of them will return back to our side or lay down their weapons as they will realise there is no reason for them to support a movement that does even worse things they claimed to be fighting against.
All they need is a little nudge - I believe our Strike Force should offer their pilots the chance to surrender their vessels and themselves and rejoin our side and offer leniency (Of course pending legal due diligence from The Liberty Government's judicial branch). And no matter what their tactics may be, we should meet them with strength, force and vigilance, but a fair one at that - to remind them who the good guys really are and what they once stood for.
Recipient of communication:All Operatives / High Command
Greetings Everyone,
Since I have founded the 46th Strike Force of the Liberty Navy I have seen some impressive performances from our operatives.
One particular operative has come to my attention who was aiding some Navy capital Vessels in New York, this individual is Romeo Darkbeat and the striking thing about him is he is a recruit who is learning alongside experienced officers.
As I have gathered he was assisting the capital Vessels by observing the battle which commenced and multiple insurgence vessels had entered New York from California and proceeded to engage Liberty Forces.
Romeo was observing an Insurgence Battlecruiser who broke away from the main fleet to engage Romeo and by what i heard he lured the Battlecruiser away which by all accounts was the only vessel equippped with disruptor technology and unfortunately Romeo was staken out with extreme prejudice within seconds but his quick reactions saved his life when his pod jetisoned and was picked up soon after the battle finished.
This Recruit deserves a well earned pat on the back and I am acknowledging his bravery and would like to thank this recruit personally within the next few days when I return to Norfolk Temporary Command.
Let us all use this as an example of a Recruit who has laid his life on the line for his duty and at the same time his effort turned the outcome of the battle into a victory.
Well done to Recruit Romeo Darkbeat and I hope you have a very good and even more succesful career with the 46th Strike Force.
James Creed

FROM: Rear Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer TO: 46th Strike Force Commodores and Admiralty SUBJECT: A need for a science, research and development division? Fellow Officers,
I would like to start off by saying that I have been around in my many years of experience before joining The Strike Force. From working with The Core in the Omicrons before they decided to go our separate ways, to my operations in Taus and Coronado.
But despite by journey I will be the first to admit that I am not a man of particularly high intellect, especially when it comes to science, strange materials and organisms. I suppose I place honor and frontline duty over well...deep diving into books and research and such.
Maybe you are the same, maybe you aren't but still there will be situations like these today where we encountered an initially non-aggressive adrift alien creature.
[] K'Hara|Sascya: ***...-yours- shells are getting in -ours- way, but -ours- still looking for answers...***
[] 46th|LNS-Wedmate: what's your business here?
[] 46th|Van.Leer: What the hell? Can you understand it anyone? Seems to be adrift.
[] 46th|Van.Leer: It emits some sort of sounds though
[] 46th|LNS-Wedmate: It's disturbing
[] K'Hara|Sascya: ***...-ours- is the -light-...***
[] 46th|Van.Leer: Commodore I am puzzled. It seems to lack intelligence
[] K'Hara|Sascya: ***...-yours- mind are weak to understand...***
[] 46th|Van.Leer: Commodore: I suppose we could disable it and tow it.
[] 46th|Van.Leer: Commodore: But what if we'd be shooting a lost confused lost animal
Take situations like these, with the confusing ships and artifacts in Omicron Nu that makes wonder if we should consider hiring xenolinguists, scientists and researchers to join 46th in an advisory role.
I am not talking a full fledged large R+D branch that would ruin our budget here. Simply several key personnel in advisory roles under our banner that could help us deal with and make sense of confusing languages, creatures, artifacts, materials and potentially even adapted weaponry when we need them. This would avoid confusing situations not suited for us more straightforward military brains.
Do you think there is a need for such positions?
Would we find space in our budget?
And, as I am by no means qualified and prefer to focus on my duties Would one of you be willing to spearhead the effort of doing all the necessary vetting, acquiring of research vessels and facilities et cetera?
We could, of course, delegate the task to one of our Captains or Lt.Commanders since we aren't talking about a very large operation here.
FROM: LtCmd Romeo Darkbeat TO: 46th Strike Force High Command SUBJECT: Smuggler problem + Our tech shortcoming Esteemed Admiralty,
My last report paints a bleak image of what might be happening on the ALASKA system. Since we have moved to the heart of Liberty assisting and conduction operations in NY, LA, TX and PN, I have noticed a pattern of smugglers coming from and going into the trade lane to Chadwick Station, fully violating restricted space. In my last attempt at tackling this mystery I even managed to capture footage of one going into ALASKA and another approaching me to talk near the Jump Gate. This one then entered the system and CLOAKED in there, not before mentioning a SMUGLING RING.
I know I only have the word of a criminal here, but this intel might mean that they have a BASE hidden somewhere in the ALASKA sytem.
It's not just Nomads and Order vessels threatning our House, it's Insurgents zooming from their corrupt hideouts, or som AI Drone "studying" us for his "Mothership" or the possibility that smugglers may be hiding a base right in our no-fly zone, our most no-fly zone. If small time drug dealers and arms runners can laugh at the face of Liberty, imagine what other Houses might plan, what that AI thing can report to whateverhunkofcircuits it calls a "Mothership"?
I've been informed through liaison channel of Rear Admiral Van Leer's idea and I humbly endorse it even though it's discussion in officially above my rank. Some cloak disruptors or more advanced tech would surely help a long way in protecting Liberty. What is within my rank and I will do now is to humbly request our directive to avoid ALASKA to be lifted.
Furthermore I hope you fine officers can later approve the development of a scanning operation around the system, in hopes of finding that base if it exists or at least learning their routes and scare them out of restricted space.
That can take the new operation class we devised, the LONGBOW Class.
An operation like this in ALASKA would first need multiple pilots in fighter vessels, equipped with the longest range scanners available, performing a sweep patrol at the same plane as objects of interest such as the Jump gates, Juneau Shipyard and Battleship Minneapolis, as well as 10k above and below it. This can be codenamed "ARMED INTEL MANEUVER" (A.I.M.).
If we manage to assert the existence of the base and find it's location, I suppose HC will be able to coordinate with the rest of the Navy, possibly even LSF, the planning of a second phase, Codenamed "FINAL INTENSIVE REPELLING EXECUTION" (F.I.R.E.).
I obviously know that a goose chase, and a failed one at that, would be an incredible waste of the Strike Force time and taxpayer money. For now, no Operation needs to be devised as our intel is just a lead. That's why I suggest we just return patrols to ALASKA for now and try to locate the smugglers routes.
FROM: Rear Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer TO: LtCmd Romeo Darkbeat SUBJECT: Alaska Lt.Commander,
Permission to assign small surveillance craft for finding criminal bases in Alaska granted, but was never needed. We merely gave a recommendation to be wary of Omicron Nu due to it's confusing status.
Alaska is a restricted off-limits system for civilians besides a select few with authorisation - so if criminals are establishing a base there or Artificial Intelligence is threatening an invasion with their mothership we should act swiftly.
I quite like the idea of the LONGBOW codename for reconnaissance missions and craft. We could look to create and acquire a class of a light recon fighters and equip them with powerful scanners and cloaks or cloak disruptors for such a purpose.
Permission granted to start such a division under your leadership.
I would suggest starting with LZF-9805 "Liberator" Liberty Light Fighter
And the callsign 46th|LONGBOW-(name/number).
But I will leave that and what craft you deem necessary for reconnaissance missions at your discretion.
As for the other proposed codenames - I would take it one at a time, ARMOUR for escort and transport missions has caught on nicely.
As per your orientation, I will develop OPERATION:COLDARROWLONGBOW001RECOIL001, the first RECOIL-CLASS Op with the Commander's Intent of rooting out and slowing down the smuggler activity spiking in New York through Alaska. First I will set up two figthers codenamed 46th|RECOIL_1 and 46ht|RECOIL_2. Those can be Liberators as you suggested but it's hull strenght worries me, maybe the Executioner is a more viable platform. After Consideration on both parts the division decided for the Liberator.
I'll then need just some advice setting up cloaking devices on those, and then me and Ensign Black can start OPERATION:RECOIL001 proper. in the AIM phase We'll recon and gather intel about the routes of these smugglers, learn more about what they are bringing in and where's the best place to strike.
And then FIRE phase can begin, as we root them out and - this time - give no beenefit of the doubt. We can read them their rights when they're on their escape pods...
Thank you for the cooperation, trust and continued support. LONGBOWRECOIL Division is a go!
This is LtCmd Romeo Darkbeat, out.
EDIT: As per request, Operation COLDARROW will be renamed LONGBOW001RECOIL001, as it is the first of it's class and the foundation stone of a new Division within the 46th.
Topic of Communication : New Improvements to our operation
Recipient of communication:All Operatives / High Command
Greetings Everyone,
This is your Fleet Admiral James Creed here and I am proud to announce that we are now making improvements to our operation and will be including classified operations and logistics operations aswell.
I am pleased to also announce the ordering of a prison liner which will be used for the transporting of prisoners from certain locations in LIberty.
As some of you are already aware we have put into effect some Navy Bison transposrts which will be used alongside regular patrol ships for the purpose of confiscating any illegal ships carrying Human cargo and once we establish a place for us to make our headquarters we will use these Bisons to keep the facility functioning.
More will be revealed on our new classified operations very soon once all the protocols are in place and the operatives involved have been chosen and debriefed.
We are making alot of changes to the way we operate and so far I can say that every operative has responded in a very professional way and has also made improvements on all aspects of their duties.
I am very impressed with all the new recruits who have performed really well and we have had two who have impressed us that well they have been promoted recently.
This communication to all operatives will be updated as soon as all the protocols are done and we can start to roll out everything that is within the research stage at the moment.
My work on this will be extensive and I will be meeting with all High Command members to get the protocols set into place and initiated as soon as possible.
Please stay tuned for the next announcement on this and I am hopig to get things sorted very soon.

Gentlemen and operatives of the 46th Strike Force,
Your Fleet Admiral and certain High Command and a small selection of operatives have been in deep discussion about our next steps and plans for our organisation.
Due to increased smuggling activity and also a upsurge in Piracy, and even more concerning is the fact that Insurgence and also Outcast and Nomad incursions into Liberty are increaseing we have come up with some operational class protocols which are proposed by the High Command and also the operatives who have been involved.
These new operational protocols will improve our operational activity and also will give a number of operatives the chance to take part in these operations as they are announced.
We have spent alot of time on this and we also need to be vigilant with regards to these upsurge in incursions and also the increase in piracy and smuggling.
We have also noticed a upsurge in smugglers coming through Omicron NU which has been part of a covert operation to observe and also gather evidence of these individuals who make these trips.
The smuggling of illegal substances into Liberty has to be stopped and basically controlled in a way that means we can stamp down on these smugglers and put them out of business.
As you can see from the proposals below we already have some of these operational protocols in place and have done some successful missions.
Mission protocol Recoil will be one of the most ongoing operations that we will be undertaking and as the operation proceeds we will be increasing this to more locations in the future so we can be ready and able to respond to any smuggling and pirating operations and to also conduct intel over a larger area.
Each of these protocol missions will be announced well before they are to take place under a classified encrypted message to all operatives and will need a very in depth report from the operative who has conducted the mission.
Please take some time to study these protocols and also I will be taking some feedback from all of you regardig the protocols and all feedback should be submitted through our private channels.
All protocols not yet operational will be announced as soon as they are approved.
CLASS PROPOSAL : ARMOR
INTENT: Designed to define operations of protection and/or transfer of key materials or personnel when intel suggests hostiles are to be expected.
USAGE: Two successful Ops so far, both protecting commercial allies of Liberty in Libertonian space. 1 Transport designated 46th|ARMOR-BARRICADE for key material transportation. HC and pilots recognize ARMOR CLASS as escort operations.
STATUS: Currently in use and operational
CLASS PROPOSAL : RECOIL
INTENT : Designed to define RECONNAISANCE operations, like information on smuggling routes, confirmation of enemy activity and scouting for hidden threatning elements. Put under the banner of the new RECOIL division, delegated to LtCmd Romeo Darkbeat by Admiral Van Leer.
USAGE : Currently one operation has assesed the route of smugglers through alaska, virginia, texas and NY to and from Omicron Nu, with a foothold being stablished on Alaska and smugling activity reducing slightly. Another Op uncovered an LSF derelict base with lootable craft inside. Currently a Light figther designated RECOIL1 is waiting HC approval for the installation of a light cloaking device and a second light fighter, RECOIL2, has been commisioned. Both will have basic weaponry, CD capabilities, Adv. Deep Scanners and cloaking tech.
STATUS: 2 successful Ops, Class Setup Underway.
CLASS PROPOSAL : LONGBOW
INTENT : Originally devised as what became RECOIL, LONGBOW has been idealized by Fleet Admiral Creed as long range, long term Operations. These can be from criminal investigations and Enemy Base sieges to log term operations, official faction business or war-time operations if Liberty goes to war with other houses.
USAGE : None so far
STATUS : HC studying approval
CLASS PROPOSAL : SERAPH
INTENT : Originally proposed as the natural succession of RECOIL or LONGBOW operations, SERAPH would be highly classified missions that required cooperation with LSF, LPI or maybe even other factions, such as foreign allied military
USAGE : None so far
STATUS : HC studying Approval
CLASS PROPOSAL : DOMINANCE
INTENT : Devised as a definition for operations that require a large fleet composed of multiple capitals, possibly with a snub or bomber element. Literally, asserting dominance.
USAGE : None so Far
STATUS : HC studying Approval
CLASS PROPOSAL : FOUNDATION/TOPGUN
INTENT : Proposed as training and educational operations designed to keep individuals in all ranks on a state of continuous learning and top performance,, from simple snub training activity on simulators to full rehearsals of patrols and operations of other classes. From previous experience, ARMOR will require special rehearsal and predefined Standard Operation Procedures. we are hoping that Ensign Black_12 be given the lead on this one, provided he is agreeable to this and will be given an increased rank to be able to do this.
USAGE : None so far, but training on simulators needed
STATUS : HC studying approval
CLASS PROPOSAL : KETER
INTENT : Proposed as extremely risky and delicate operations. These can be missions that require stepping out of naval normal bounds, wartime critical operations that have clear consequences involved or the risk of any Navy installation being destroyed or the lives and livelihoods of 46th members, Naval officers and Liberty citzens be put on Jeopardy.
