First and foremost, the Rheinland Military--along with the RFP--is the premier lawful force in Rheinland. We make the rules, you follow them. Read that last sentence again. Once that is understood, you can continue to our actual rules and guidelines, which I will list below.

Rheinland Rules of Conduct
  • Rheinland Military authority is absolute, follow all orders received within reason.
    • You have the right to refuse orders that break any other clause listed here.
    • If you refuse an order, PM me (Malexa) with the details and there will be an investigation.
  • Understand your ID limitations. Certain Rheinland IDs limit your power more or differently from this rule-set.
  • Rheinland is defined as the combination of the systems: New Berlin, Dresden, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Braunschweig, Halle, Omega-15 (near the Schwerin), Omega-7, Omega-11, and Bremen.
    • All Rheinland Police vessels are never to leave Rheinland. Military vessels may only venture to New Hampshire, Bering, Hudson, Omega 7, southern Sigma 13 (no further as the ALG debries field) and Texas to engage Libertonian forces.
    • Military and Police patrol patterns include all friendly bases and their surroundings--ten kilometers.
      • Tradelanes are to be kept secure in the same perimeter distance.
      • Asteroid fields and nebulae are not included into normal patrols due to the risk of an ambush.
      • Locations of pirate bases are unknown. Do not travel there.
  • Route or destroy all Wilde, Liberty, Corsair, Red Hessian, Landwirtrechtbewegung, Bundschuh, or Unioner forces.
    • Do not deploy capital craft against an already overwhelmed enemy. It is a waste of military resources.*
    • Destruction of the Wilde and Nomads is paramount to all other objectives.
    • Destruction of Libertonian forces is paramount to destruction of all other objectives, except the previously noted objective.
      • Combat with Libertonian Forces is only to occur in Rheinland, Bering, Hudson, or Texas.
    • Do not destroy ships that have surrendered.
    • Order foreign entities--such as the KNF, BAF, Blood Dragons, Gaians, Lane Hackers, Mollys, and other like forces--out of Rheinland.
      • Failure to comply after two warnings gives you the right to engage and destroy.
      • This does not include foreign corporations.
  • Embargo and Trade: No traders are to pass the Libertonian borders when coming from Rheinland, with the exception of:
    • Ageira or DSE hauling Gate or Trade Lane Parts.
    • Synth Foods, Inc. hauling synth paste or other food.
    • Interspace Commerce hauling various supplies.**
    • Orbital Spa and Cruise hauling legal Human Cargo (no slaves).
    • Human Transportation by non Libertonian Corporations(no slaves)

Ageira, DSE, Synth, Foods, IC and Orbital Spa and Cruise are allowed to haul the same goods within Rheinland.
If carrying other goods, they will be ordered to drop them and to change course to Liberty space.
  • Nomad Equipment:
    • All sorts of Nomad materials and related are forbidden in
Rheinland space. Ships carrying these materials are to be instructed
to relinquish them for destruction or leave Rheinland territories.
Should the captain of the ship chose to relinquish them and the
items are mounted on the ship, they are allowed into orbital stations
only (not Planets), so the items may be remove on sealed docks for
posterior destruction. Failure to comply to this is punishable with
      death.
  • Special clearance for hauling cargo inside Rheinland:
    • APM Tagged and with IC papers equipped vessels. (All goods except contraband)
Special signed treaty with the BHG shipping wing: Neural Net information about the treaty
      Embargo still applies.
*This is the "fair play" clause. Basically, don't chase lone fighters with your battleship, or ruin a fair fight.

**
Quote: The Interspace Comerce is authorised to bring these commodities both ways across the border between Liberty and Rheinland, to supply their bases:
Niobium
Platinum
Polymers
Consumer Goods – excluding whips, chains and liquid latex
Food Rations
H-Fuel
Holo-tainment Bands
Iridium
Luxury Consumer Goods
Oxygen
Pharmaceuticals
Silver
Tobacco
Water
Wine

Explanation how to enforce the Embargo

Regarding to the recent Pilots, who stormed my Office and asked me what to do, if they encounter various traders in Hamburg:

Pilots, to make this clear for now and forever:

Quote:Embargo: No traders are to pass the Libertonian borders when coming from Rheinland, with the exception of:

* Ageira or
* DSE hauling Gate or Trade Lane Parts.
* Synth Foods, Inc. hauling synth paste or other food.
* Interspace Commerce hauling various supplies.
* Orbital Spa and Cruise hauling legal Human Cargo (no slaves).

Human cargo is a legal good. Let them pass the borders, unless beeing slaves or one of the above corporations not allowed moving passangers

We Will NOT let goods get past hamburg to Liberty borders. They have to turn around or drop the goods at Altoa or Planet Hamburg.
[color=#80FF00]Zoners
may refit their Freeport with the proper paperwork.

THE BORDERS ARE OPEN FOR INCOMING GOODS!

If the listed liberty corporations are not hauling their own goods (like DSE hauling boron), kick them out without the cargo. - Clowning around = Authorization of REASONABLE force.

Quote:* Other Liberty companies like Universal: Kick them out. - If they refuse or clown around, use REASONABLE force to get them moving.

Disrespectful Traders or liberty Corporations: Warn them first. If they keep insulting Rheinland or Rheinlanders : Show them the exit.

Signed,
Major Malexa Malte

When has Rheinland Military High Command (RMHC),
command over an independent player?

No, I repeat, NO Rheinland ship WITHOUT the tag [RM](means the player is independent) is under my or High Commands direct command, unless they harm server gameplay, Rheinland, Rheinland Military Independent Rules and Procedures, our faction, any other faction or player, the serverrules or the roleplay on this server.
(breaking something of above will have some sort of RP transmission with direct orders as a consequence.
It will be totaly in roleplay.)

If any commander or pilot decides to disobey a direct order from Rheinland Military High Command(RMHC), the accused commander or Pilot will be found guilty of high treason.
High treason will be punished with a firingsquad containing of six soldiers.

If Pilots or Commanders play inside the listed rules and inside of roleplay, RMHC will not and CAN NOT hand any specific orders to them, unless the pilot or commander wishes to follow the [RM] Rank system on his own free will.

Behaviour in and around Events regarding [RM] vs. X

Bigger battles or planned events are always hard to plan and especialy to keep them even and fair.

NO I repeat NO pilot adds someone to the group, except the Pilot with the highest rank who is leading the battle.

Also if you are late DO NOT join in. Ask the OTHER side, not the RM side if you may join.
If you do not recieve an answer, that is counted as a NO.
Stay out of bigger battles or planned events uninvited!

MND: Marinenachrichtendienst
  • All of the above rules are still in place, when using the MND ID
    • The only exceptions:
    • The Liberty-ZOI of the MND ID is not limited by Bering, Hudson, New Hampshire, Quebec, Texas and other border systems used to fall into Rheinland space.
General behaviour when flying a MND IDed vessel:
  • You are Rheinland's eyes and ears. Act like it. Reconnnaissance is your job.
  • Reconnaissance means stealth. If you are collecting informations about the enemy inside Rheinland, or even outside, maintain Radio silence.
  • If deep inside Libertonian territory (I.E. New York), these rules are crucial.
Stay silent, do your scout job and avoid the enemy at all cost.
  • If you are spotted, retreat and save your gathered intel.
  • Again, stay silent when behind enemy lines. (Exception is system wide roleplay, to get the roleplay flowing and add special atmosphere.)
No taunting, yelling or looking for fights.

  • STAY OUT OF ALASKA! The MND knows about Z21 and the Jumpgate there, but never managed to get a spy within liberty ranks through.
Remember! Everything in here counts for the [RM] faction as well!

anyway i'm copying this and saving it, good to know. clears up a lot of things and a sililar list should be made for librety,

2# A verry good question mein Herr. (I will only answer to RM related questions)
That also came up in our briefingroom.

I take the freedom to quote the Kanzler now.

Quote:That's rather difficult to define. There are a LARGE amount of commodities that IC might be hauling to keep their bases operational...

But I think if you stick close with Oxygen, Food, H-Fuel, Consumergoods and Water, you are free to bring that to Bonn. Dont forget to tell our boys and girls, where it goes.

Major Malexa Malte

Und such entities as Republiken Shipping, Daumann und others. Are they also not allowed to kross der fronten?

Traffic can pass. Without goods in their hold. (goods for selfuse are allowed to carry.
I.e.: Big Bretonian Shire Transport moves to liberty with a crew of 40 people. They need consumergoods, warter, food, etc.)

Why would Daumann and Repex want to ship goods to our enemies?

If we see the person still flying the Police ship after 48 hours we will assume the ship has been stolen and destroy it.
I can understand the Mjolnir being restricted, but every other military faction that I know of allows their light fighters, and I can't see any good reason to ban them.
