The reason for posting this event on the forum is that it is a convenient method to notify players of its existence, as well as organize it.
I suppose there are many ways to screw this up. Far too many to predict and prevent. However, I would ask you not to do this.

Presently the event is limited to official navy factions and TFP. I wasn't super involved with drafting the event, but I think the impetus here is to encourage these official factions to get out in force after a bit of a slumber. We have a lot of time before the event, so I think we'll reconsider opening it to indies if there isn't enough interest, or if it looks like TFP will roll the opp uncontested.

Who can make it if the event is moved to the same time on Friday the 14th this week? Two of our members are out of town and can't show the 21st, and the 28th is bad for me personally.
