LPI Officer Jack Sawyer stood with one foot up on a chair, the other grounded on the floor. He was spinning a yarn that had several LPI officers listening attentively, huddled around him, donuts and coffee all but forgotten.

"So thar ah wuz. Just me, ma ship, and that durn hoodlum 'round Manhattan. Durn if I wuz gonna let 'im go," he said, putting on a hick accent just for the heck of it. "Wut he sed wuz purty funny - he dee-manded a lawy'r."

A few chuckles emanated from the assembled mass of officers.

"Ah o' course told 'im that thar ain't been no lawy'rs since the Great Lawy'r Famine o' '67," at this point, a voice piped up from the audience, muted for its isolation, that said, "You said it was in '65 last time!" but it was quickly silenced by a quick jab to the ribs from someone's elbow.

"Then I went on ta say dat them lawy'rs had finally realized wut they wuz doin' ta mankind, so they bombed all the law schools, then all committed ritualistic suicide fer our great good." The accent started straining towards the end.

"Anyways, of course that durn hoodlum was a little dumbfound, so I dragged him on down to Huntsville for loitering while listenin' to me talk."

LPI Officer Hull O'Brian strides into the Sunbucks on Fort Bush, needing a little pick me up before going back out on Patrol. Today had been a crazy day, not that the last three days hadn't been....

Hull gets about 3 steps inside and notices that the place is undergoing some sort of refurbishment..., what with the force having been put under orders to shape up, or get put out. The LPI is currently undergoing a rebuilding from within. The Chief is rooting out the incompetent ones and bringing in new blood. Doesn't mean you can't get a donut here, I just hope they save the cheese danishes, one every now and then is ok.

Hull strides up to the counter and orders a Tall Mocha, It's going to be another long day protecting the people of Liberty..........

*Joe stares at this guy*
*all of the LPI on Fort Bush stare at him*
All of the Officers suddenly yell in unison:

"GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

They then grab him and throw him out the room.

OOC:........its LPI only. You are not in the LPI. so, look above.

Jack slides in after a long patrol and orders some doughnuts. Mom had always said that they where the least healthy breakfast food in the sector, but after a night shift, he didn't care. He sat next to a few SWAT guys and listened to the rather interesting story about how an officer had caught his girlfriend smuggling. He then slips out to his bunk.

An overweight, obtuse man that looks vaguely familiar to you enters Sunbucks. Quite a few LPI officers stand to attention, sweating, and one covertly motions to you to do the same. You do, sort of bewildered, and when you get a closer inspection you're glad you did. Matt Myers, the Chief that's famous for his extremely short temper, was the man.

He looks around. He considers the denizens of Sunbucks. He reconnoiters. Then, he says, "Mayhap I heard the forbidden word 'Omicron'?"

"NO SIR!" came from the voice of each officer in the room.

Matt eyes each man and woman suspiciously, then says "I have my eyes on you" before ordering a baker's dozen donuts and leaving. One of the officers faints.

Sally walked into the bar, her top open just that little bit to tempt the boys, her ass giving a shapely wiggle as she pushed through the door, she knew how to play.

Wandered over to the bar, slammed a few credits down and drawled in her sweet angelic voice "Give me a large can of beer. Pronto".

After recieving it, she turned back towards the other officers, leaning back against the bar and winking at them.

"Hello boy's" she said, drinking her beer.

After Myers left, Joe thought to himself:

Oh my god, hes back!

After a long night shift (And getting shot down again...) I was about to enter Sunbucks when a large man came striding out of Sunbucks with a bag of Donuts, stopped, and stared a hole right thru me. He then turned away and kept on walking.

Oh god, Myers is back? I am so screwed. The Maintenance and Supply officer are gonna get me booted for sure....

I will be lucky not to be cleaning floors around here....
